It started as an interesting idea…
It was late 2025 and a good 4 or 5 years had passed since we made a film that summed up what3words, what it stands for, how it’s used and the fact that it has slowly and steadily become a part of everyday life. On a small budget, and featuring a cast of mostly colleagues and friends, we told the story through the eyes of a regular person, from the first time they heard about what3words to the present day. All the examples featured are real use cases we’ve seen out in the world.
I worked with Ivan Pols (CCO) on the script, handled casting and directed the edit and voiceover recording.
